With these experiences, I aspired to a position with greater responsibility, and our President deemed it appropriate and appointed us to this valuable institution bearing the name of Mehmet Akif Ersoy. Knowing the university is an advantage, and we intend to make good use of this advantage to provide excellent services. May God not let us down,” he said.
On June 17-18, 2023, Rector Dalgar stated that students who choose MAKÜ for the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) will gain significant benefits, that MAKÜ has achieved many firsts in various fields in Turkey, that despite being a young university, it is a university that makes a difference compared to universities with a history, that many projects contributing to the regional and national economy have been implemented due to its specialization in the field of animal husbandry, and that their goal is to further advance these projects.
Rector Dalgar stated that MAKÜ, which continues its educational life with 1,100 academicians, will have the most comprehensive Dental Hospital in Turkey with its newly opened Faculty of Dentistry, that the region's largest Animal Hospital is at MAKÜ, and that the Faculty of Education also has a strong infrastructure.

As MAKÜ, we also want to be a university that turns its knowledge into commerce. We want to produce our own research fund. This is our responsibility to our nation,” said Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, stating that they conduct both applied education with students and carry out studies that will provide added value to the national economy.
At the end of his speech, Rector Dalgar wished success to the students who will take the YKS exam and said, “Students who choose MAKÜ will never regret it.”
